patio

Outdoor concrete you actually want to use.

Concrete patios, walkways, and sidewalks in west-central Minnesota. Stamped, broom, or exposed-aggregate finishes. Free estimates.

Pricing: Patios typically $10–$18/sqft. Stamped or exposed-aggregate $14–$22/sqft. Sidewalks $8–$12/sqft.

A patio is a daily-use surface around Alexandria lakes, Osakis acreages, and Long Prairie homes. It needs to drain right, hold up to grills and furniture, and look like it belongs on the house. We design and pour patios across west-central Minnesota that meet all three requirements.

Finishes we offer

  • Broom finish — classic, durable, low-maintenance, best resale value.
  • Stamped — patterns that mimic stone, brick, or wood. Custom color options.
  • Exposed aggregate — natural stone surface, great grip, ages well.
  • Stained / scored — for a more designed look on existing or new slabs.

Sidewalks

Standard residential walkways are 4 ft wide, 4 inches thick, on a class-5 base. We can match existing sidewalk profiles, do tear-out and replace for failed sections, and install new runs from driveway to entry.

Send photos and dimensions of the area and we’ll come out for a free site walk.

Common questions

Stamped concrete vs pavers?
Stamped concrete is one continuous slab — fewer maintenance headaches, no weeds in joints, lower lifetime cost. Pavers look more high-end and let you replace single units, but cost more upfront and can shift over time.
Does stamped concrete crack?
All concrete cracks. Done right — proper base, control joints, fiber or rebar — cracks stay in the joints where you can't see them.
Best time of year to pour a patio in Minnesota?
Late May through mid-October. We avoid pours when overnight temps drop below freezing or when summer heat is extreme. In the Alexandria/Osakis area that typically means May through September for reliable conditions.
How much does a concrete patio cost?
A 400 sqft broom-finish patio runs $4,000–$7,200 installed. Stamped or exposed aggregate adds $1,600–$3,200. We provide a written line-item estimate after a free site walk.
Do you pull permits for patio work?
Small residential patios typically don't require permits in Douglas or Todd counties. Patios over a certain square footage or attached to foundations may require one — we check before starting.
Do you serve my area?
Yes — we serve Osakis, Alexandria, Sauk Centre, Glenwood, Long Prairie, Fergus Falls, Perham, Battle Lake, Little Falls, and surrounding communities in Douglas, Otter Tail, Todd, and Stearns counties. Free site visit.
What's a workmanship warranty?
1-year workmanship warranty on all patio and sidewalk pours. Covers cracking beyond normal control-joint behavior and finish defects.
