Pole Shed, Shop & Garage Concrete Floors: details & planning

Concrete floors for pole sheds, shops, Quonset buildings, and garages in west-central Minnesota. Scoped to your building — send your size, town, and photos.

Concrete floors for pole sheds, shops, Quonset buildings, and garages across west-central Minnesota. Whether the building’s already up or still on the drawing board, we scope the floor to what you’ll actually use the space for — a storage shed and a vehicle shop don’t get the same slab.

What’s included

  • Site walk and written estimate (free, within service area)
  • Subgrade prep and compaction sized to the building and its use
  • Forms, rebar or fiber reinforcement, control joints
  • Pour, finish, and saw-cut joints
  • Cure-time guidance and post-job cleanup

Tell us about your project

Every floor is priced to the building and what you’ll use it for — we don’t copy a flat per-square-foot number from a different job. Send your building’s size, your town, and two photos (inside and the access route) and we’ll scope a written estimate. Exterior concrete and pole-shed completion work is subject to normal weather and scheduling availability.

Common questions

Can you pour a floor inside a building that's already framed or sided?
Yes — we've poured floors inside standing pole sheds, open pole frames, and arched Quonset buildings. Access for the pump truck and finishing equipment is usually the limiting factor, not the building itself.
Do you handle vehicle/shop floors differently than a storage-only floor?
Yes. A floor that'll see a vehicle lift, welding, or heavy equipment gets a thicker slab and different reinforcement than a floor that's just for dry storage. Tell us what you're parking or working on and we'll size the floor to it.
How thick does my shop or pole-shed floor need to be?
Depends on the load — a storage-only floor and a floor under a vehicle lift are different jobs. We size thickness and reinforcement to what you'll actually put in the building, not a one-size number.
What does a pole-shed or shop floor cost?
It depends on the building size, site access, subgrade condition, and what the floor needs to carry. We don't quote a per-square-foot number sight unseen — send your building size, town, and two photos and we'll scope an estimate.
How long before the floor can take a vehicle or equipment?
Same general concrete cure schedule as any slab: light foot traffic at 24 hours, light vehicles around 7 days, full cure at 28 days. We'll walk you through the specific timeline for your floor before we leave the site.
Do you serve my area? I'm near Alexandria or Fergus Falls.
Yes — we serve Osakis, Alexandria, Sauk Centre, Long Prairie, Fergus Falls, Perham, Glenwood, Carlos, Staples, Little Falls, and surrounding communities in Douglas, Todd, Otter Tail, and Stearns counties. Free site visit within the service area.
Can you also build the pole shed or Quonset, not just the floor?
Yes — see our [pole sheds & outbuildings](/services/pole-sheds/) page for full-building scope. This page is specifically about the concrete floor; we can bid the floor alone or as part of the full build.
